For convivial evenings
1. Rub the fondue pot with half the clove of garlic.
2. Pour the wine into the pot and add the grated Comté cheese. Slowly heat while stirring. The fondue should simmer gently.
3. Mix the starch with some wine and stir the mixture into the fondue to thicken it.
4. Stir until you get a creamy and smooth mass.
5. Finally add the spices and put the fondue on a chef's plate.
